We are very pleased to announce that The Motions has been hired to perform its first “gig.”
We will be playing on Friday, July 11, 20087 at “Titanic Brewery & Restaurant” which is a pub/restaurant and music venue near the University of Miami, 5813 Ponce De Leon Blvd., Coral Gables, Florida (directly next to the University of Miami’s Baseball Stadium). We will be playing 3 one-hour sets beginning at 10:00 p.m. Yep, we will be the band in the Titanic, so to speak.
This is our first booking, so we were really hoping to get as many of our friends out there to support us as possible. Please try to come and bring your friends, and tell them to bring their friends, and so on, and so on. . . We will really appreciate your support, and I am certain everyone will have a great time.
Of course, I have to include the official disclaimer that this is not a firm-sponsored event and we do not want to guilt anyone into going, but it would sure be great to see you all there. Also, as I’ve previously warned, please do not drink and drive, just say no, stop look and listen before you cross the street, stop drop and roll if you catch on fire, and call your doctor if you experience the Motions for more than three hours. (seriously re: the drinking and driving – have a designated driver).
You can check out the Titanic website at www.titanicbrewery.com
Thanks, and hope to see you there!!!

The Motions will launch their exclusive and highly anticipated “Motions on the Oceans Tour”. OK – really, it’s the KPKB holiday party on the “Biscayne Lady” (pictured above). Join us if you can (that is, if you work with us or married to someone who does)!
The Motions make a guest appearance at the famous Carnegie Hall. We were a bit busy that weekend, but we decided to squeeze in this gig for the hell of it!
